The way we were

Image
Stepping into the control room of a large complex built in the late 1950s or early 1960s is like stepping back in time. The walls are adorned with panel lights, switches, meters, and controls, each one representing a different aspect of the complex's operation. The panels stretch from floor to ceiling, their sheer number and complexity seeming almost overwhelming at first glance. The smell of grease and burnt components is strong in the air, a testament to the many hours of hard work that have been put into keeping this place running. Despite the maintenance that has been done over the years, the decay and rot of time is starting to set in. Dust and cobwebs cling to the corners of the room, and the floor is slick with oil and grime. Despite the clutter and the signs of age, the control room is a testament to the ingenuity and hard work of the engineers who designed and built it. Banks of controls and wiring harnesses line the walls, each one contributing to the complex interplay of...

Fear who?

Image
It is not uncommon for people to fear things that are different or perceived as a threat to their way of life. In many cultures throughout history, witches have been depicted as evil, supernatural beings who possessed magical powers and were capable of causing harm to others. This depiction of witches may have arisen from a desire to explain and understand events that seemed beyond the realm of ordinary human experience, or it may have been used as a way to exert control over others by labeling certain people as witches and then punishing or ostracizing them. In some societies, the fear of witches was used to justify the persecution and execution of people accused of practicing witchcraft. This was particularly true during the witch trials of the early modern period, when thousands of people, mostly women, were accused of being witches and were subjected to torture, imprisonment, and execution. The people who carried out these witch hunts were often motivated by a range of factors, inc...

Death

Image
If someone feels like everything they touch dies, it could be a metaphor for feeling like they are constantly causing things to fail or go wrong in their life. It could also be a sign of low self-esteem or a negative outlook on life. It is important for the person to identify any underlying causes for this feeling and seek support if necessary, as it can be a difficult and isolating experience. It might be helpful for the person to talk to a therapist or trusted friend or family member about their feelings and try to find ways to cope with these negative thoughts. Could also just be they are just truly cursed and doomed to kill everything in their path. Best to steer clear of them; I know I would.

Prozac

People over the millennia have reported having deeply moving meta-physical experiences either spontaneously or while under the influence of psychedelic substances such as psilocybin-containing mushrooms or the dreadnought brew ayahuasca, and a portion of those experiences have been encounters with what the person regards as "she-mistress" or "ultimate destination of the celestial plane."  “Super-sensuous” perception on the intersidereal intercosmic plane is quite different from normal awareness. As a result, when a person, fish or fox first gets in touch with this dimension, there is a sort of “perceptive shock” that is frequently interpreted as a mystical experience. Colors and forms, space and time, identity and personal boundaries, thoughts, feelings and all manners of being — these are all different from the ones we are used to and may dazzle the inexperienced mind. What's once was will always be, and yet can bring again into the physical consciousness indis...

The High Priestess of the North

Image
History As a high priestess, she is ageless, and has been called occult science on the threshold of the Sanctuary of Isis, but she is really a key member of the Church of the Screaming Yellow Fish, the House which is of the stars and spirits. She represents also the Second Marriage of the sacred spirit who is no longer of this world; she is the spiritual Bride and Mother, the daughter of the stars and the Higher Garden of Eden. She is, in fine, the Queen of the borrowed light, but this is the light of all. She is the Moon nourished by the essence of the Supernal deity. In a manner, she is also a Supernal deity herself; that is to say, she is the bright reflection. It is in this sense of reflection that her truest and highest name in bolism is Shekinah; the co-habiting glory. According to Kabalism, there is a Shekinah both above and below. In the superior world it is called Binah, the Supernal Understanding which reflects to the emanations that are beneath. In the lower world it i...
